Daniel has been invited by the Theatre Arts Department and will be interviewed by Prof. Jill Stevenson about his work on integrated casting, which challenges the theatre industry to reconsider the assumptions it brings to art works and aims to shift how it discusses identity and identification.
This is part of a two-day residency, "Creating Change, Building Community," funded by MMC’s Theatre Department, the Office of Student Development & Activities, and the Theatre Department at Fordham University, during which Daniel will also give his presentation "Youth Leading Youth: Hip Hop Theatre in Ghana and South Africa" and also facilitate a "We the Griot" workshop.
